Raytek Medical's new medical linear gas pedal, VenusX, has been tested for clinical acceptance to assess the accuracy, effectiveness and safety of its clinical applications. Methods With reference to the relevant national standards and methods, the quality of VenusX was tested and evaluated in terms of radiation safety, mechanical precision, beam performance and imaging system. The results of all the technical indicators meet the requirements of the relevant standards: radiation safety items are normal and effective; isocenter size of 0.5mm, frame rotation angle of 0.3°, precision of the digital optical distance scale of 1mm, rotation angle of the treatment bed of 0.5°, the treatment bed of the various directions of the error of ≤ 1mm, grating blade in place accuracy and repeatability is better than the standard; dose stability is better than the relevant standards; the center of the MV-EPID in place accuracy of 0.4mm, in place repeatability 0.4mm, in place repeatability accuracy of 0.2mm, positioning accuracy of 0.5mm; kV-EPID center in place accuracy of 0.3mm, in place repeatability accuracy of 0.2mm, positioning accuracy of 0.1mm. Conclusion VenusX, as a domestically produced multimodal intelligent medical linear gas pedal, the parameters and indexes of all parameters are better than acceptance standards, proving that the safety, accuracy and effectiveness of its equipment comply with relevant national standards and meet clinical requirements.
