What do you think of the US plan to completely ban the sale of new equipment from Huawei and ZTE?

The Security Equipment Law signed by US President Biden prohibits companies regarded as security threats such as Huawei and ZTE from obtaining new equipment licenses from US regulators. The bill requires the FCC to draw up a list of restricted equipment and services that "pose a national security threat to the United States", and prohibits US telecom operators from using government subsidies to buy, rent, lease or otherwise acquire communication equipment or services of listed companies. From June 5438 to February 2020, the Federal Communications Commission of the United States finally formulated a regulation requiring operators with ZTE or Huawei equipment to "dismantle and replace" these equipment.

This ban has aroused global concern and discussion. On the one hand, the US government believes that the products of these companies may pose a threat to the national security of the United States, so it is necessary to take restrictive measures. On the other hand, the China government believes that this is unreasonable repression, which damages the legitimate rights and interests of China enterprises and affects the stability of the global supply chain.
