With the continuous development of society, more and more women are joining the work of various industries and becoming professional women. Some women's work environments contain high concentrations of chemical substances that affect women's reproductive function and, in turn, the healthy development of the fetus. Therefore, in order to improve the quality of the population and achieve eugenics, women in some occupational positions should temporarily switch jobs when considering conception. The residual period of some toxic substances in the body can be up to one year or more, even if you leave such positions, it is not advisable to conceive immediately, otherwise it is easy to cause teratogenicity, so appropriate measures should be taken to avoid care. After the discovery of pregnancy, the fertilized egg, the germinal follicle and the early embryo may have been attacked, and then it is too late to take protective measures. Women in the following occupational positions should be transferred from their jobs.
(1) Certain special jobs. Frequent exposure to lead, cadmium, mercury and other metals will increase the likelihood of miscarriage and stillbirth of pregnant women, of which methylmercury can cause teratogenicity, lead can cause mental retardation in infants; carbon disulfide, xylene, benzene, gasoline and other organic substances, can make the rate of miscarriage increased, vinyl chloride can make the babies born to women with a higher rate of congenital dementia. Therefore, female workers in these positions should be transferred to other types of work before pregnancy.
(2) high-temperature work, vibration work and excessive noise work. Studies have shown that high working temperatures, vibration, or noise can adversely affect the growth and development of the fetus, so these jobs should be temporarily transferred away from the job to protect the health of the mother and child.
(3) Workers exposed to ionizing radiation. Research results show that ionizing radiation is an invisible murderer to the fetus, which can seriously damage the fetus and even cause teratology, congenital stupidity and stillbirth. Therefore, exposure to industrial production of radioactive substances, engaged in research on ionizing radiation, television production, as well as the medical sector of the radiation work should be temporarily transferred away from work.
(4) Medical workers, especially clinicians and nurses in certain departments. Such personnel are often in close contact with patients suffering from various viral infections during epidemics of infectious diseases, and these viruses (mainly rubella virus, influenza virus, cytomegalovirus, etc.) can cause serious harm to the fetus. Therefore, it is advisable for clinical staff to strengthen their self-care to prevent viral hazards if they are planning to conceive or are in early pregnancy when viral infections are prevalent.
(5) Workers in close contact with chemical pesticides. Agricultural production is inseparable from pesticides, and many pesticides have been proved to be harmful to the health of women and fetuses, causing miscarriage, premature birth, fetal deformity, mental retardation. Therefore, rural women should stay away from pesticides from the time they are ready to conceive. In particular, the protection of women working in rural enterprises should be strengthened.
