VGA fiber-optic converter products commonly used accessories

Common related equipment in use

1, optical patch cord

Mainly play a role in connecting, it will be connected to the optical terminal and optical fiber. Then, from the connector on both ends of the optical patch cord, optical patch cord is divided into FC patch cord, ST patch cord, SC patch cord; from the length of the optical patch cord, it can be divided into 3 m patch cord, 5 m patch cord, 10 m patch cord and so on.

Commonly used fiber specifications: Single mode: 8/125μm, 9/125μm, 10/125μm Multimode: 50/125μm, European standard 62.5/125μm, American standard Industrial, medical and low-speed networks: 100/140μm, 200/230μm Plastic: 98/1000μm for automotive control.

2, Terminal Box

Terminal box, also known as fusion box, is mainly to protect the optical jumper and fiber optic fusion between the fusion place, through the fiber optic fusion splicing machine will be fused to the fiber optic and jumper into the terminal box. Typically, each optical transmitter in the front end requires a terminal box, in the central control room only requires a terminal box. The terminal box can be divided into 8-port, 12-port and 24-port from its volume.

3, flange

Flange is also a connector, usually on the optical fiber interface, which is the flange, that is, connecting the optical jumper and a connector of the optical terminal. From its specifications, it can be divided into FC, ST, SC three kinds.

4, optical fusion splicer

It is mainly through the electrode, in the case of instantaneous discharge, the optical fiber and optical jumper fused together, in the fusion splicing, pay attention to the fiber optic end face to be cut neatly, and keep the end face clean.

5, OTDR optical time domain reflectometer

This is a testing instrument, it is mainly detected in the fiber optic transmission, whether there is a fiber breakage.

6, optical power meter

Literally, it is a power measurement instrument, but it is not measured by the voltage power, but the power of light in the optical fiber transmission, as well as the size of the attenuation of light in the transmission process.
