What country is Mandalay a city of

Mandalay is the second largest city in Myanmar.

Mandalay's Pali name is "Rohtanabuni Jadu", meaning "City of Many Treasures", and it was the new capital of the Yongshuya Dynasty built in 1857. The former capital was located in the suburbs of the present city. Most of the buildings were destroyed in the Second World War, and only the old royal city and the city tower remain. Because of the famous historical capital of Myanmar Ava in its suburbs, so the overseas Chinese travelers in Myanmar called it "Ava City". It is the economic, cultural and transportation center of the central region.

1, Mandalay Hill

Mandalay Hill is located in the northern part of the city center of Mandalay, formerly known as Rakshasa Women's Hill, and it is a famous Buddhist shrine in Myanmar. Mandalay Hill is not high, only 236 meters, but it is the highest place in the whole Mandalay city.

2, Mandalay Palace
