? The doctors, nurses and therapists in our HDU not only have solid basic knowledge of various clinical disciplines, but also have a good grasp of rehabilitation therapy techniques. Doctors in our department must have comprehensive basic knowledge of the full range of diseases, and also need to have complete knowledge of rehabilitation, nurses must all master the basic nursing operations of critically ill patients, therapists must have engaged in the rehabilitation of critically ill patients. For some bedridden for a long time, limb muscle weakness, swallowing function weakened patients for rehabilitation. While relieving the patient's pain and suffering, promote the establishment of the patient's ability to return to society and return to the family.
Our department is equipped with a series of rehabilitation facilities in addition to some of the basic facilities of the ICU, which play an important role in the transition of patients from ICU to general wards.
1, motorized standing compound bed training: HDU critically ill patients should be bedside standing training as early as possible, in order to effectively prevent a variety of complications caused by prolonged bed rest, but due to the critically ill patients at this stage of the inconvenience of bed and chair transfers, and therefore, the traditional standing training can not be carried out normally.
In order to solve this clinical pain point, our department uses the electric stand-up rehabilitation bed to solve the problem of early stand-up training for HDU patients with severe illnesses, providing a safe and effective way of stand-up training for patients with early severe rehabilitation.
2, lung expansion technology and pulmonary rehabilitation: due to long-term bedridden patients in the icu, lung infections are more common, the respiratory capacity will be relatively weakened, in order to make the patient's lung function to reach the normal level, the department uses position management, chest relaxation training, respiratory muscle training, airway contouring technology to help solve the problem of sputum expectoration of the patient.
3, motor function training: due to the patient long-term bedridden people limb tissue strain, some patients with peripheral neuropathy damage, resulting in muscle atrophy, the future return to the family and society has great difficulties, in response to this problem, our department of rehabilitation for patients with this problem.
4, tracheotomy patients plugging/extubation: some patients' sanity is gradually recovered after treatment, and they are able to have independent breathing, independent cough reflex, and cough out the tracheal secretion, then the doctor will consider extubation of the patient, and we need to train the respiratory function of the patient before extubation.
5, swallowing function rehabilitation: swallowing dysfunction is a major obstacle to the recovery of critically ill patients, our department has a specialized therapist for swallowing function of the patient for swallowing training.
