Generally, the internet access of radio and television networks has a fixed IP address, and then there is an authentication software. Only after passing the authentication can a stand-alone computer access the Internet. If two or more computers use one access at the same time, and in your case, you need a router with MAC address cloning function. (Now almost all routers with MAC address cloning function support it. )
The debugging steps are as follows. Take the Mercury MR804 model as an example (in fact, almost all routers are set up like that, and the difference is only the difference of some subtle specific operations):
1. First, connect the external line to the WAN port of the router, and (machine A with authentication) to the LAN port. (Disconnect other machines first)
2. (Machine A) automatically obtains the IP address, or specifies it as IP:192.168.1.3 subnet mask: 255.255.0.
Gateway: 192. 168. 1 preferred DNS:192.168./standby.
3. Enter 192. 168. 1 Enter: username: admin password: admin to enter the router interface. (Please check with your router for the account/password to access the router. )
(192. 168. 1 in items 2 and 3 is actually the address of the router, and some routers are192.168.0.1).
4. Click the Setup Wizard, select Static IP Next, enter the IP subnet mask gateway DNS, and then complete the next step.
5. Click the network parameter MAC address to clone the copy.
6. Close the IE window, click the radio and television authentication software, and after the authentication is passed, the machine can access the Internet.
