Main characteristics of 3CrMo

3CrMo (A333) belongs to the national standard of low-alloy structural steel. The implementation standard is GB/T 377-27.

Chemical composition of 3crmo:

3CrMo has high strength and toughness, high hardenability, and the critical hardenability in oil is 15 ~ 7 mm; The thermal strength of steel is also good, and it has sufficient high temperature strength below 5℃. The application examples are as follows:

1. This kind of steel is usually used in quenched and tempered state, and the steel with lower carbon content can also be used as carburized steel with higher core strength.

2. In the medium-sized machinery manufacturing industry, it is mainly used to manufacture quenched and tempered parts with large cross-section and working under high stress conditions, such as shafts, spindles, steering wheels, bolts, studs, gears, etc. under high load;

3. Used in the chemical industry to manufacture welded parts, welded structures composed of plates and pipes, and high-pressure conduits whose working temperature does not exceed 25℃ in the medium containing nitrogen and hydrogen;

4. It is used to manufacture fasteners working below 45℃, flanges and nuts working under high pressure below 5℃ in the steam turbine and boiler manufacturing industry, especially suitable for manufacturing conduits working below 4℃ at 3 atmospheric pressure.
