Synopsis: Jerome is a Gerd chief astronaut, and he's told by his superintendent that in one week he'll be officially flying into space. He is told by his supervisor that in a week's time, he will be officially launched into space. Geron's name is Vincent, and he was born to a mother who conceived him naturally. Vincent was born a "flawed man" and his blood was tested by a doctor right after he was born. The doctor told his parents that not many of his internal organs were healthy, and that he had a 99% chance of having a heart attack and would not live past the age of 30. When Wensheng got a little older, he was rejected at the school gate because of his health. In order to make up for this, his parents found a doctor and, through genetic technology, gave birth to a perfect elite brother. Vincennes and his younger brother, Anton, love to play a game of guts, but Vincennes always loses to Anton every time. Vincent has fantasized about traveling to space for as long as he can remember. He and Anton accidentally beat his brother in a swimming competition once, and ever since then Vincent has believed that nothing is impossible.
Vincent left home and went to work as a janitor at Geddes, where he and some of the people discriminated against by science had to do menial jobs. He waited for the company's elite employees to leave work each day so that he could use his cleaning time to sneak a peek at the computer equipment he had longed for on the road to space. Vincent knows that blood is what counts, what the face looks like is irrelevant. He found the manager of the black market and met Jeron, the swimmer. Jeron was a standard elite guy who got hit by a car once while drunk and broke his leg, paralyzing him for life. The two men take advantage of a loophole in genetic science and swap identities, with Jeron giving Vincennes everything he needs for his medical exams, such as blood and urine, and also his name. And Vincennes successfully enrolls in Gerd's company, and after the medical examination and acceptance he has to provide Jeron with the luxurious life he is used to living. Every day when Jellon, whom Vincent had assumed the name of, returned home, he carefully cleaned the hair and dander from his body. He is also very careful to hide any hair that falls out when he goes to work. Another supervisor in the company is murdered. Investigators collecting evidence at the scene collect one of Jeron's eyelashes, for which they suspect the murderer is the flawed Vincent. Irene, a female employee of the company, assists the investigators and when she searches Jerome's desk, she finds one of Jerome's hairs. Irene takes the hair for genetic testing and learns the identity of Vincent. However, Irene did not tell the investigator about the clue, but instead grew closer to Jeron. The investigator suspected Jeron's identity several times, but he and the real Jeron dealt with it wisely. The day before Jeron's flight into space, the investigator finally found out that the murderer was Jeron's elite supervisor, who was willing to kill anyone who got in his way in order to fulfill his plan. But the investigator calls out Vincent's name to Jerome. It turns out that the investigator is Anton, Vincent's brother. Anton persuades Vincent to give up his plan, but Vincent is adamant that he will not give up his wish which he has worked so hard to realize. The two brothers go swimming again to determine the winner, the result is still Vincent won. Vincent gets dressed early in the morning and prepares to go to the office for his final medical checkup for his flight into space. Geron opens the refrigerator, he has prepared enough medical samples for Vincent for his whole life, and hands Vincent a letter to open and read only after he has lifted off. Vincennes successfully boarded the space plane, and after the plane took off, Jaron on the ground set himself on fire and died, and Vincennes clutched Jaron's letter, blurring with tears.
