History of Guangzhou Baiyun District Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

The predecessor of the hospital was established in August 1958, the original site is located in Gaozeng village Luo clan ancestral temple of Renhe Commune Health Hospital; in 1988 by the Peruvian overseas Chinese leader Mr. Dai Zonghan and other enthusiastic people from all walks of life, patriotic overseas Chinese, compatriots abroad donated more than 3 million Hong Kong dollars to the current site of the construction of the building; in September 1989 by the approval of the government at all levels formally renamed as the Baiyun District of Guangzhou City, the People's Hospital of Chinese; in 2001 Hong Kong Panyu Jichangtang Foundation donated 4.5 million Hong Kong dollars worth of a fourth-generation whole-body helical CT machine (General Electric). In 2001, Hong Kong Panyu Jichangtang Foundation donated a fourth-generation whole-body spiral CT machine from GE (General Electric) worth 4.5 million Hong Kong dollars. In November 2003, the former Benghu Overseas Chinese Hospital was incorporated into Renhe Overseas Chinese Hospital, and the scope of services of the hospital was more enlarged; and in November 2006, approved by the government of Baiyun District, the hospital was upgraded to a Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital in Baiyun District.
