In terms of postgraduate training, there is one postdoctoral mobile station, one doctoral discipline point, and four master's degree supervisors, who have already trained 2 postdoctoral fellows, 13 doctoral students, and 43 master's degree students, which is constantly injecting fresh blood for the development of this discipline into high, precise, and advanced aspects.
All the staff of the Department of Anesthesiology, Beijing Tiantan Hospital, will be guided by the basic principle of "Strengthening the characteristics, balanced development; establishing the department in the clinic, developing the department through scientific research", and will go hand in hand in the clinical, scientific research, and teaching, pioneering, innovating, and enterprising, so as to spare no effort to promote the development of China's neurosurgical anesthesia career. Neuroimaging Center of Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University has been founded by academician Wang Zhong since 1980, and has been gradually built into a modern department with advanced equipment, medical characteristics and academic achievements through the solid foundation of the older generation of radiologists such as Song Zunwu and Lu Rongqing, especially under the leadership of President Dai Jianping, and the unremitting efforts of all the comrades of the Department for more than 20 years, and was approved to be the authorized discipline for doctoral degree and the postdoctoral mobile station in 1998. In 1998, it was approved as an authorized discipline for doctoral degree and a postdoctoral mobile station, and is currently the largest center specializing in neuroimaging research and treatment in China.
Advanced diagnostic and therapeutic equipment: The Neuroimaging Center has four magnetic **** vibration imaging systems, three CT machines, three DSA equipment, one ECT machine and one Doppler ultrasound; imaging equipment and related post-processing software have always maintained the leading position in the country, and basically synchronized with foreign countries. In addition, the Neuroimaging Center has the most advanced purely digital PACS system in China, which significantly improves the quality of image preservation and better serves the clinic.
Strong technical force: there are 5 professors as well as chief physicians, 3 deputy chief physicians, 2 doctoral supervisors and 3 master's supervisors. The Neuroimaging Center has 4 people with doctoral degrees and 5 people with master's degrees. Most of them have specialties. Dean Dai Jianping and Prof. Gao Peiyi, the leaders of the department, have profound attainments in neuroimaging research and are known as "God's Eye", whose diagnostic results are clinically known as "preoperative pathology diagnosis".
Medical characteristics are obvious: The Neuroimaging Center is the first in China to introduce an advanced management system, adopting a "vertical and horizontal" mode of administration, where technical and nursing staff are grouped according to the equipment and managed vertically, and physicians are grouped horizontally and rotated regularly. This management mode has greatly promoted the construction of the discipline and gradually created our own medical characteristics. The leading position of neurosurgery department of Beijing Tiantan Hospital in the international arena has laid a solid foundation for the development of neuroimaging; at the same time, the rapid development of the discipline of neuroimaging has also strongly supported the development of clinical, scientific research, and teaching of neurosurgery.
The research group led by President Dai Jianping is at the international leading level in the research of acupuncture-fMRI.
The research program of acupuncture-fMRI led by Dean Dai Jianping is at the international leading level in preventive diagnosis and early diagnosis of neurological diseases, especially cerebrovascular diseases. ①Professor Gao Peiyi's own research and development of brain CT perfusion software is currently being used nationwide, its image quality and parameter standards are significantly better than the foreign CT scanner comes with software processing systems and related domestic medical software companies to develop products; ②Professor Gao Peiyi will be cerebral infarction diagnosis ahead of cerebral infarction pre-infarction, and the results of its research earlier than similar research abroad, through CT perfusion scanning early detection of a large number of patients with cerebral infarction pre-infarction, and early diagnostics of cerebral infarction. A large number of pre-infarction patients were found early through CT perfusion scanning, which enabled these patients to receive timely treatment, saved a large number of medical expenses, and alleviated the burden on society and families, which was unanimously recognized by the Department of Neurology of Tiantan Hospital and neurological interventionalists; (3) CT perfusion scanning has been listed as routine scanning, and has become the main basis for the diagnosis of neurological interventional therapy and evaluation of the efficacy of the treatment after the treatment; (4) Prof. Gao PeiYi has also put his attention on the preventive diagnosis of cerebral infarction. In terms of diagnosis, the department is developing research on cerebral blood flow velocity, determination of blood flow status and cerebrovascular elasticity imaging, and has completed the imaging of the body model, which is in the international leading position, and it is expected that this research will make the diagnosis of cerebrovascular diseases several years ahead of schedule.
In the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of brain tumors, we have established a leading position in Beijing and even in the country: ① we have advanced imaging equipment and means for diagnosis and completion of neurological imaging as well as a high-quality technical group; ② our diagnostic correctness rate is significantly higher than similar hospitals, and as long as the patient cooperates with the diagnosis, the diagnosis can be made; ③ more and more patients from all over the country come to the hospital for diagnosis; ④ we cooperate with GE and Simens to develop state-of-the-art imaging systems; we also cooperate with other companies to develop the most advanced imaging systems. Simens to develop the most advanced diagnostic and treatment means and technology, through the magnetic *** vibration brain functional imaging for brain tumor patients preoperative functional zone positioning and choice of surgical access.
In molecular imaging research, the department is also at the first-class level in China: (1) it can successfully complete the labeling and cellular imaging of magnetic *** vibration contrast agent and neural stem cells; (2) it can observe the migration and distribution of neural stem cells in the inner part of the brain tissue of animals by applying clinical type MR instrument.

At the same time, it has held many national study courses and trained more than 500 doctors for further training across the country.
Looking ahead to the 21st century, all the medical and technical staff of the Neuroimaging Center of Beijing Tiantan Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University will make united efforts to make the construction of the discipline reach a new level, and strive to realize the following three transformations and construction goals, so as to become an outstanding discipline with a certain degree of international fame under the leadership of President Dai Jianping.
The key to the construction of the discipline: the realization of three changes, namely, from purely anatomical based on morphological research to the basis of pathophysiology based on functional research; from the anatomy, clinical medicine, physics and electronics based on the knowledge structure to the basis of pathophysiology, biochemistry and computer applications based on the change in the knowledge structure; from the main staff structure of the physicians, technicians The main personnel structure to physicians, biomedical engineers as the main personnel structure.
Discipline construction goal: to build the Neuroimaging Center into a discipline that focuses on cerebrovascular diseases, brain tumors, and central nervous system interventional radiology with a stable academic research direction of functional/molecular imaging, medical image post-processing/CAD, neurointerventional radiology, and evidence-based medical imaging; and to become a base for scientific research and training of high-level practical talents in the above related fields. It is a base for scientific research and training of advanced practical talents in the above related fields.
The motto of the Neuroimaging Center is:
"Heaven gives birth to the earth, and its benefit is infinite; the way of all benefits is to walk with the times"
