China-Shaanxi Nuclear Industry Group Corporation, formerly known as the Northwest Geological Bureau of the Nuclear Industry, was founded in 1955, one of the earliest professional teams of uranium geology established in our country, and has made significant contributions to the cause of atomic energy in our country.In January 2000, it was transferred to the management of the People's Government of Shaanxi Province, and was renamed as the Geological Bureau of the Nuclear Industry of Shaanxi Province.In February 2009, it carried out the reform of entrepreneurialization, and In March 2014, it was renamed as China-Shaanxi Nuclear Industry Group Corporation.
In recent years, the Group has deepened its corporate reforms and formed an industrial pattern with two main industries, namely geological exploration and development, nuclear energy utilization, and healthcare services and biotechnology; engineering survey and construction, and new energy as supporting extended industries; and financial services and trade as supporting platforms, which is characterized by a prominent main industry, a two-wheel drive, a combination of production and financing, and a multifaceted support system.
At present, the Group has 21 subsidiaries, with more than 12,000 employees, 122 full senior titles, 776 senior titles, 2,188 national scientific and technological talents, and 1 National Ten Thousand People's Plan Science and Technology Innovation Leading Talent, and 2 Shaanxi Provincial Accounting Leading Talents. It has been approved two academician workstations of nuclear geology and nuclear medicine, one postdoctoral innovation base, one provincial enterprise technology center, and has won more than 60 awards from provinces, municipalities and industry associations.
The Group has discovered or surveyed and evaluated 28 uranium, coal, metal and non-metal deposits (points) by taking advantage of its nuclear geology technology. The Group has organized and implemented three national uranium exploration projects and two provincial gold polymetallic mineral exploration projects, achieved important technical achievements in oil-uranium and coal-uranium exploration, and made breakthroughs in Shaanxi Huayangchuan Uranium Ore Exploration and metallurgical key technology; as the chairman of the Provincial Nuclear and Radiation Association, the Group is also the trustee of Provincial Nuclear Emergency Response and Rescue, and has made significant contributions in the fields of nuclear medicine, irradiation processing, radiation protection and detection, protective equipment manufacturing, radiation safety training and other areas. Manufacturing, radiation safety training and other areas of the province is in a dominant position; the Group undertook the provincial enterprises, some central enterprises in Shaanxi Province, the task of medical and health resources divestment reform, the establishment of the Shaanxi Healthcare Group, the formation of a three-tier general hospital with two Grade 3A as the backbone, the focus of the 15 second-tier regional center hospitals, six specialty hospitals, eight rehabilitation hospitals, five community rehabilitation and nursing care centers as a feature of the three-tier Ltd., which integrates the R&D, production, sales and cross-border trade of plant extracts, Chinese medicine tablets and health food products, and has built the Shaanxi Herbal Medicine Processing and Logistics Industry (Poverty Alleviation) Project, and its subsidiary Hanzhong Natural Valley Bio-technology Co. The company has a perfect R&D, large-capacity injection and production system of Chinese medicine, including 73 OTC products, 57 national medical insurance products and 33 basic drug products.
