In order to implement the spirit of the "Opinions on Further Strengthening the Popularization of Science and Technology in the New Era", to encourage aerospace science and technology and popularization of science workers, people from all walks of life and space science and technology enthusiasts to participate in the creation of space science and technology and actively participate in the implementation of the development strategy of the drive for innovation, to carry forward the spirit of science and popularization of scientific knowledge, to enhance scientific and cultural literacy of all people. To accelerate the great practice of building a strong science and technology country, the Chinese Academy of Astronautics is now organizing the "My Space Dream" First Short Video Creation Competition for Space Science Popularization. The relevant activities are notified as follows:

Requirements for the competition
(1) Participation object
1.Professional group: those who have a professional experience in making popular science videos, and those who have been working in major universities, and those who have been involved in the production of popular science videos, or those who have been involved in the production of popular science videos. Video producers (regardless of age) who have more professional experience in popular science video production and have produced and disseminated original popular science videos on major video and media platforms.
2. College student group: doctoral and master's degree students, undergraduates and specialists in colleges and research institutes who are studying and have no experience in popular science video production.
Note: Submissions should be made by individuals, not by organizations or institutions; for team creation, the team should not exceed 3 people and the first creator should submit the video; repeated submissions will be regarded as invalid and will be disqualified; the total number of submissions by each person should not exceed 3 (cross-grouping is possible).
(2) Submissions
Submissions should be original videos created by the participants after October 1, 2021, and should clearly answer at least one scientific question or principle, and those that only describe the spirit of spaceflight are considered invalid.
1. Professional Group: works without propositions are divided into 30 seconds-59 seconds, 1 minute-5 minutes, and 5 minutes and 1 second-10 minutes groups based on their length.
Suggested scope: cutting-edge science and technology, major projects, aerospace applications, scientific knowledge and so on.
2. College students group: works without propositions, according to the length of time is divided into 30 seconds - 59 seconds group, 1 minute - 5 minutes group.
Suggested scope: cutting-edge science and technology, major projects, aerospace applications (what changes aerospace brings to life), scientific knowledge, the difference between life on the space station and life on Earth, etc.
All submissions should satisfy the principle of popularizing knowledge of space science and technology and spreading scientific ideas; and meet the following requirements:
(1) The works should be in line with the Party's line, guidelines and policies, and in accordance with national laws and regulations;
(2) The contents should be short and concise, with a combination of science, knowledge, popularity, artistry and fun, and free of scientific errors;
(3) The work should be uploaded to Baidu.com and provide a link to share (long-term effective), such as published in the public platform, and provide the original video platform playback address;
(4) The author promises to participate in the work of creativity and originality of the material, to ensure that the work submitted to the independent intellectual property rights;
(5) Citation of the official public images or information to be marked with the source of the data and information, the professional group citation The cumulative duration of the footage shall not exceed one-fifth of the total duration of the video;
(6) If plagiarism or unauthorized use of non-public material is found, the selection will be disqualified; please be careful not to use soundtracks, fonts, and special effects with restrictions on the dissemination platform; and promise that the work will not infringe on the copyrights of the relevant parties in the post-production exhibition;
(7) The language of the text in the video should be in Simplified Chinese (English translation is required), and if any of the text is in English, it should be translated. English need to be translated), if there is a dubbing or simultaneous voice need to use Mandarin (no machine dubbing), the narration must be equipped with Chinese subtitles;
(8) the video should be composed of three parts: the opening credits, the main credits and the closing credits, the opening credits reflecting the name of the video, and the closing credits should reflect the ownership of the work and the list of references (the opening credits and closing credits should be no more than 5s, and do not count as part of the video time).
(3) Form and Format Requirements
1. The works shall be in the form of short documentaries, DV clips, video clips, animation, animation, etc., with no limitation on artistic expression;
2. The works can be recorded on PC, cell phone, camera, webcam, DV, DC, MP4 and other video terminals, with no limitation on the recording equipment;

Selection and Reward
(1) Selection Process
After the preliminary examination of the form and content of the entries, the entries will be displayed on the CSCA video number, Shake and other media platforms, and the number of likes and messages will be used as a reference for public feedback. The Chinese Academy of Astronautics will organize experts to carry out comprehensive reviews, combined with public feedback to produce the final results.
(II) Subgroup Awards
Horizontal Awards: According to the age and work grouping, all the entries are categorized into 5 subgroups, and the first prize (5), second prize (10), third prize (20), and excellence awards (30%) will be selected respectively. According to the principle of scientificity, none of the award-winning works shall have scientific errors, and some of the awards will be vacant if the works fail to meet the evaluation criteria.
Popularity Award: After the results are produced, all the equal awards and selected outstanding awards will be broadcast on various platforms for the award-winning works, and according to the amount of airtime, the top ten popularity awards of the current year will be selected among the broadcasted works.
(C) Rewards
1. Special Rights and Benefits
The winners of the Top Ten Popularity Award will be invited to participate in space launch site observation or similar activities organized by the Chinese Society of Astronautics and Astronautics (from RMB 10,000 in market price);
The first prize will be awarded an all-access pass to the 2022 Chinese Space Congress (from RMB 3,000 in market price).
2. Honors and honors
The works of the winners of the second prize and the excellence prize will be displayed on the official platforms of "Popular Science China", the official Jieyin number of the Chinese Academy of Astronautics and other friendly organizations;
The winners of the second prize will participate in the selection of short videos, and will be awarded to the creators of the selected short videos. The selected creators will be awarded the honorary title of "Creative Star of Popular Science China - Chinese Academy of Astronautics", and invited to be stationed in Popular Science China's popular science number;
Professional creators of the equal and excellent awards will be selected to be in the expert database of the Chinese Academy of Astronautics.
3. Certificates
All the winners will receive electronic certificates issued by the Chinese Academy of Astronautics.
4. Souvenirs
The first prize winner will receive a limited edition souvenir hand puppet of "My Space Dream";
The second prize winner will receive a key chain with the theme of "My Space Dream"
