From the
2022 China Arithmetic Conference, which opened in Jinan on July 30, it was learned that
China has now built
the world's largest and technologically leading
network infrastructure.
As of the end of June this year,
the number of 5G base stations in China reached 1.854 million,
the number of 5G cell phone subscribers exceeded 450 million,
all prefectural-level cities were fully built into optical network cities,
and the number of gigabit fiber optic subscribers exceeded 61 million.
Xin Guobin said that in the past ten years, China's network infrastructure to achieve leapfrog improvement, built the world's largest and technologically leading fiber-optic broadband and mobile communications network. All prefectural-level cities fully built optical network city, 100 megabit and above access rate users accounted for 93.4%, gigabit access rate users exceeded 50 million. 4G base station scale accounted for more than half of the global total, built 5G base station reached 1.615 million, 5G cell phone users reached 413 million. The strength of the technology industry has been significantly enhanced. Mobile communication technology has realized from "3G breakthrough", "4G synchronization" to "5G leadership", 5G standard necessary patents accounted for 38.2%, 5G chip, mobile operating system and other key core technologies are different from the international advanced level. The gap between key core technologies and the international advanced level has been narrowed continuously. The world's largest and most complete optical communication industry system has been built, and some key technologies of optical communication equipment, optical module devices, optical fibers and cables have reached the international advanced level. There are 301 unicorn enterprises in China's Internet sector, accounting for 25% of the world. Internet applications such as e-commerce, e-government, telecommuting, online education, and live video broadcasting have been fully popularized, significantly improving the efficiency of social operation, with the annual transaction scale of mobile payment reaching 527 trillion yuan, and new economic forms creating more than 20 million flexible jobs. The new generation of information and communication technology represented by 5G has accelerated its application in many industries, such as industrial manufacturing, ports, mines, medical care, education, culture and tourism, with a total of more than 20,000 application cases.
