Medical gloves should be used with attention:
(1) Medical gloves should be used when working in the laboratory, and should not be worn to leave the experimental area;
(2) Medical gloves must be worn when contacting infectious substances (blood, body fluids, secretions, exudate);
(3) Medical Gloves should be taken off and replaced as soon as possible after they are contaminated or torn;
(4) Disposable medical gloves should not be reused;
(5) Avoid touching the face with medical gloves and avoid touching or adjusting other personal protective equipment;
(6) Hands wearing medical gloves should not touch surfaces such as light switches and doorknobs that are unnecessary.
I. Classification of gloves
(I) single-use medical gloves
1, single-use sterilized rubber surgical gloves: in line with GB7543.
2, single-use medical rubber examination gloves: in line with GB10213.
(B) reusable gloves
1, rubber gloves oil-resistant gloves AQ6101, for contact with mineral oil, vegetable oil and aliphatic solvents when wearing gloves.
2, acid (alkali) gloves: in line with AQ6102, for contact with acid and alkali ? liquid gloves.
3, dip plastic gloves: in line with GB/T18843, for waterproof, detergent, dirt and minor mechanical and other injuries, only for cleaners and other similar types of gloves.
Two, the choice of gloves
Should be based on the wearer's possible adverse reactions and different operational requirements, the choice of different materials and different types of gloves.
(A) the basic principles of using gloves,
should follow the principle of standardized prevention and contact isolation; whether or not to use gloves should follow the hand hygiene indication.
(2) the principle of selection of those who may have adverse reactions
1, should try to wear gloves made of synthetic rubber, should not wear gloves made of natural rubber milk.
2, it is appropriate to use powder-free gloves, should not use powdered gloves.
(C) the use of single-use medical gloves and reusable gloves principles
1, direct contact with the patient, should use single-use medical gloves.
2, cleaning the environment or medical equipment, should use single-use medical gloves or reusable gloves.
3, disposable medical gloves should be used once.
