Calling is no longer the only function of a cell phone; nowadays, many cell phones have MP3 music playback, photo taking, Internet access, and so on.
The European version of the Motorola A780
Unlike the A780, which is available in China or North America, the European version of the A780 has a built-in GPS, which is combined with the included Co-Pilot navigation software to enable voice navigation. Other key features of the phone include a flip cover design, an Intel 312MHz processor, 48MB of RAM, support for Transflash memory expansion (up to 512MB), a Linux operating system, support for GSM quad-band (850/900/1800/1900), Bluetooth and mini-USB connectivity to a PC, a built-in 1.3 megapixel camera, 240x320 TFT touchscreen, talk time of about 3-6 hours, standby time of 5-8 days, dimensions of 107x54x24 mm and weight of 130 grams.
The phone is already available in Europe for about 5,500 yuan (including GPS navigation software). The Chinese version of the A780 (without built-in GPS) costs about 3,400 yuan.

This is better for users who use the GPS function less often, and less convenient for those who use it frequently.
Other key features of this phone include support for UMTS high-speed data networks, a built-in 2-megapixel camera, support for FM radio, MP3 and video charters, Bluetooth support, and 128MB of RAM (64MB usable), expandable via RS-MMC. The screen is a 2.2-inch 260,000-color TFT display with a resolution of 240x320.The phone measures 111x53x20 mm and weighs 134 grams.
