Introduction of Ningbo Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine

Ningbo Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine, founded in 1977, is a Grade 3A TCM hospital integrating medicine, teaching and research. The hospital is also an affiliated hospital of Zhejiang University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, and has been set up by the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine and the National Development and Reform Commission as a key hospital for the construction of traditional Chinese medicine.1 The hospital is located at No. 819, Liyuan North Road, Haishu District, Ningbo City, covering an area of 108 acres, with a total investment of RMB 300 million yuan, and a total floor area of 71,000 square meters, with 525 motorized vehicle parking berths, and a green coverage rate of 50 percent. The hospital has 30 clinical departments, 44 specialized outpatient clinics, 13 wards and related auxiliary departments. Including pulmonary disease, cardiology, spleen and gastroenterology, cerebral disease, endocrinology, nephrology, rheumatology, surgery, dermatology, men's medicine, anorectal medicine, orthopedics and traumatology, acupuncture and moxibustion, tuina, physical therapy, gynecology, pediatrics, oncology, ophthalmology, stomatology, otorhinolaryngology, dietetics, ICU, snakebite, intestinal medicine, emergency medicine, anesthesiology, radiology, ultrasonography, electrocardiography room, laboratory, pathology etc. There are two outpatient clinics, the main hospital and Jiangdong, and in 2014, the outpatient volume reached 1.09 million, with 15,806 discharges.
