On May 30, Yiou Health reported that Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Tencent Cloud") changed its business scope in the enterprise survey on May 15, and added the contents of "sales of the third kind of medical devices", "medical devices I and II, computers, software and auxiliary equipment" and so on.

According to the survey data of Yiouda Health Consulting Enterprise, Tencent Cloud Computing (Beijing) Co., Ltd. is registered at 201kloc-0/0, and is controlled by Shenzhen Century Kaixuan Technology Co., Ltd., and indirectly held by Ma.

Tencent Cloud's initial business core is to customize industry solutions with cloud computing, big data and artificial intelligence services. In terms of medical health, it mainly relies on public cloud, private cloud and hybrid cloud to provide medical health cloud solutions for the government, medical institutions, medical research and development and circulation, equipment, medical care and other institutions.

Starting from Tencent Cloud's own business, Tencent Cloud's new medical device sales can be seen. In Tencent Cloud's "Smart Medical Institution Solutions" section, AI intelligent aided diagnosis is an important part, and the medical device sales qualification can be said to be "a hand stuck in the throat".

At present, among the domestic companies engaged in the research and development of AI intelligent auxiliary diagnosis products, there are no products that have obtained three types of medical device registration certificates. However, it has been rumored in the industry that sugar net screening auxiliary diagnostic products are applying for the approval of three types of medical device certificates. If we want to realize the qualitative change of medical AI application from "auxiliary diagnosis" to "auxiliary diagnosis", Tencent Cloud's move is paving the way for its product application approval.

From Tencent's point of view, the self-built layout in the medical field in recent years is not small. At the just-concluded 20 19 Tencent Global Digital Ecology Conference, Ding Ke, vice president of Tencent, announced Tencent's intelligent medical service based on WeChat electronic health card to connect doctors and patients. Among them, Tencent General Intelligent Assistant and Tencent Shadow appear frequently.

In May of 20 19, Tencent officially released the open platform of AI medical auxiliary diagnosis and treatment, and announced the opening of its AI auxiliary diagnosis engine for Tencent to further expand its business. It is understood that Tencent Yingying has launched products in sugar screening, lung cancer, breast cancer and other diseases, and continues to expand diseases. The smart medical service solution built by Tencent Cloud contains a large part of these AI-assisted diagnostic products, which can help Tencent with traffic genes to expand its market.

In addition, some insiders speculate whether Tencent will cut into the layout of medical devices in the form of e-commerce or agency. Nowadays, artificial intelligence medical care has experienced exploration and landing in China, and new scientific and technological products such as intelligent monitoring equipment, auxiliary diagnostic equipment and medical robots are emerging one after another. In the long run, in addition to the development of medical devices, the circulation of intelligent medical devices is also promising.

Tencent Cloud is not the first company in 20 19 to seize the track of medical equipment, nor is it the first enterprise among Internet giants to take the lead in doing heavy medical services.

In February this year 1 1, Baidu, which has been keeping a low profile in the medical field, changed its business scope and added three new contents: selling third-class medical devices, selling second-class medical devices and developing software. On March 2 1, Huawei changed its business scope, added medical devices (Class II medical devices) sales and other businesses, and formally entered the medical device industry.

More interestingly, three days ago, a new retail player, Mr. Boxma Xiansheng, added three types of medical device wholesale and retail businesses to his business scope. According to industry analysis, this may be a prelude to the future distribution of drugs by Boxma Xiansheng.

JD.COM, an e-commerce giant, also values medical care. In May of this year 10, JD.COM Group announced the establishment of "JD Health", integrating its business sectors such as pharmaceutical retail, pharmaceutical wholesale, Internet medical care and health city, which sounded the horn of grabbing medical "business" with BAT.

Alibaba, which has the blood of e-commerce, has already involved the content of medical devices in its business layout. In the field of artificial intelligence+medical care, the AI ? ? system "Doctor You" is also used to "occupy a seat" first.

The landing speed of big data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence in the medical industry is accelerating, and a large part of them are inseparable from the medical device market segment. Under the general trend of industrial integration, the market of medical devices is also expanding. Kang Kai, CEO of Rehabilitation Home, once said to Yiou Health: "Medical devices will become an independent industry and category in the future, just as household appliances have become an industry today, which is a potential gold mine."

On the one hand, BATJ keeps an eye on this industry related to people's livelihood, and on the other hand, cross-border players are pouring in. Seeing that a blue ocean is turning into a red sea, it is still unknown who can win the "hardest weapon".
