Operation and functional instructions

a: Differences in Sensibility Due to Height
Generally, as one of the characteristics of a needle detector, the degree of sensibility varies depending on the height at which it is set. However, even at the weakest sensing level, the sensing performance of 1.2mm or 1.0mm iron ball as shown in the product specification can be guaranteed. In other words, the machine that can sense 1.0 mm iron balls as indicated in the specification can also sense iron balls up to 1.0 mm depending on the conditions. For example, if there is a mixed substance of about 0.9 mm in the clothing, even if it is not detected in the first inspection, it may be detected in the second inspection by reversing the work of inspecting the product because the position of the mixed substance has changed.
b:Changes in sensing characteristics due to the direction of the foreign object
The situation where the foreign object is a sphere is generally rare, but when the foreign object enters the needle detector, it is difficult to detect depending on its shape. As shown in the figure:
The needle detector is easy to sense the object in the A direction, followed by the B direction, and finally the C direction. That is, changing the direction of entry of the product will make the foreign object that is not detected in the first time, be detected in the second detection. Therefore, from this point of view, we recommend changing the product entry direction for the second needle detection.
2. In order to improve the detection accuracy of the needle detector
Based on the above instructions, as opposed to the use of a needle detector, we recommend the use of two (or the use of dual-probe needle detector), two-way needle detection. As shown in the figure:
If the first one is close to the conveyor belt surface of the strong sensing, then the second one to choose the upper part of the strong sensing model, there is no need to work up and down the reverse. However, turning the product 90 degrees in the center is effective in eliminating false detections caused by the direction of foreign objects.

If the product being inspected is placed on the conveyor belt of the Needle Detector, and if the magnetic field of the Needle Detector Sensor is disturbed by the product moving near the Needle Detector Sensor from an outside source, the machine stops transporting the inspected product and beeps to indicate that the product is being inspected.
External interference is as follows: electromagnetic clutch motors in the workshop, sewing machines, cutting machines, packaging machines, large transformers, decontamination guns, ironing table motors, elevators, large fans, large moving objects such as railroads outside of the workshop, Upper Pressure, welding machines, high-voltage wires, etc., in addition to the use of the operator to use the needle detector, can not carry a mobile phone, keys, watches and other metal objects. The interference within the needle detector comes from the noise or vibration generated by the detector itself.

Magnetization of the bearings used in the machine can also cause malfunction. A demagnetizer must be used to remove the magnetism from the bearings.
d. Malfunctions caused by defective products
The Needle Detector may react to different types of dyes in the product. For example, a particular color almost always passes the needle detector, but in the case of other colors, it fails. Also, the rubber used for the bottom of shoes and other products often contains a lot of metal powder. In this case, there are no metal fragments such as broken needles in the inspected product, but because there are many tiny iron particles, the conveyorized needle detector reacts to the overall metal content. In this case, the portable needle detector may often fail to detect. Hand-held needle detectors are able to detect smaller foreign objects than conveyor-type needle detectors because they are pressed against the product being inspected. However, in the above case, although the hand-held type needle detector is superior in strength, the area of the detector is very small, and the area of the sensor's reaction body is even smaller, so it often happens that the hand-held type needle detector fails to detect a foreign object.
