Medical and health institutions designated by the competent health department of the people's government at the county level in accordance with the provisions of these regulations (hereinafter referred to as vaccination units) shall undertake the work of preventive vaccination. When the competent health department of the people's government at the county level designates the vaccination unit, it shall specify its area of responsibility.
People's governments at or above the county level shall undertake preventive vaccination work and make significant achievements and contributions to the vaccination unit and its staff to give incentives.
Processing materials for medical and health institutions undertaking preventive vaccination work:
(1) obtaining a license to practice as a medical institution.
(2) Have physicians, nurses or rural doctors who have undergone professional training in preventive vaccination organized by the competent health authorities of the people's government at the county level and passed the examination.
(3) has the cold storage facilities and equipment in line with the vaccine storage and transportation management norms, as well as the corresponding cold storage and custody system.
Legal basis:
"People's Republic of China*** and the State Vaccine Administration Law," Article 44 of the vaccination unit shall have the following conditions:
(1) obtain the license to practice as a health care institution;
(2) have a preventive inoculation organized by the competent department of health under the People's Government at the county level Professional training and assessment of qualified physicians, nurses or rural doctors;
(c) have in line with the vaccine storage, transportation management specifications of cold storage facilities, equipment and cold storage and storage system.
The competent health authorities of the local people's governments at or above the county level designate qualified medical institutions to assume responsibility for immunization planning vaccination work in the region. Qualified medical institutions can undertake non-immunization plan vaccination work, and should be reported to the competent health department for the record of the issuance of the license to practice as a medical institution.
Vaccination units should strengthen internal management, vaccination work should be carried out in accordance with the norms of preventive vaccination work, immunization procedures, guidelines for the use of vaccines and vaccination programs.
Disease prevention and control agencies at all levels should strengthen the vaccination unit of technical guidance and management of vaccine use.
