According to the official website of the Xi'an Metro, a bidding notice has been issued that the city of Xi'an is actively promoting the construction of the metro, which includes plans for the extension of the Metro's Phase IV and the Xi'an Metro's Line 17 to Weinan.
The Weinan Municipal Development and Reform Commission will further follow up this work with the relevant municipal departments, and actively work with the Chinese provinces and the relevant cities and municipalities to strive for the extension of Xi'an Metro Line 17 to settle in Weinan City as soon as possible, to meet the needs of Weinan in Xi'an within an hour of commuting.
