Gas cylinders should be used in an upright position, lying down is strictly prohibited, and secured with anti-tipping measures such as fixing brackets, chains, and cylinder cabinets.
Before use, users should check the safety condition of gas cylinders. Cylinders should be used in a well-ventilated place. Cylinders should be set up conspicuous marking, labeling the use of cylinder status (full, in use, empty). After the cylinders are used, it must be ensured that the main valve and the pressure reducing valve are closed. Acetylene cylinders before use, must be upright for 20min, and then connect the pressure reducing valve to use.
Oxygen cylinders should be equipped with special tools and are strictly prohibited from contact with oil. The operator can not wear a variety of grease or easy to induce static electricity generated by the operation of clothing gloves, so as not to cause combustion or explosion. The gas in the cylinder shall not be exhausted, there must be a residual pressure or weight, the residual pressure should be in accordance with the relevant provisions, the residual pressure in the nitrogen cylinder should not be less than 0.05MPa.
When moving the stored cylinders, anti-vibration gaskets should be installed, tighten the helmet, in order to protect the switching valve, to prevent it from accidentally rotating and to reduce the collision. Gas-filled cylinders should be properly secured when loading and transporting to avoid rolling and collision on the way; when loading and unloading, they should be gently lifted and put down, and it is prohibited to use the method of throwing, sliding or other methods that can easily cause collision.
Close handling of cylinders, concave bottom cylinders and cylinders with round base can be hand-held tilting rolling way, square base cylinders should use a stable, labor-saving special trolley handling. If the distance is far or the road surface is uneven, special machinery and tools should be used and properly fixed with chains. Should not be carried on the shoulder, back, arms, arms, lifting or two people to carry the way of transportation.
Cylinder storage should be noted
Storage place should be ventilated, dry, prevent rain (snow), flooding, avoid direct sunlight.
Storage of flammable and explosive gas cylinders must be overall explosion-proof, electrical switches and fuses should be set outside the storage room, and should be set up at the same time lightning protection devices.
Cylinders should be stored in an upright position, fixed or tied with railings or brackets, and it is prohibited to use the bottle valve or head of the cylinder to fix the cylinder. The bracket or tie should be made of flame retardant material, and the bottom of the cylinder should be protected from corrosion.
