How about the major of industrial design?

I am a senior graduate of Hechi University, and this major is not bad in our school. I have a friend who is majoring in this major, and he is ready to sign a contract now.

As far as I know, industrial design is a highly marginal discipline and a perfect system. If we only understand it as modeling design, it will be too one-sided, and there are many subjects to understand. For example, industrial designers should have rich experience and knowledge, and know sociology, psychology, physics, chemistry, journalism, communication, color, architecture, machinery and so on. All knowledge is not superfluous to designers, which is called marginal.

There are a wide range of employment companies, including industrial design companies, enterprises with independent brands, product design and manufacturing, furniture, toys, film and television animation companies, and product design companies in the later stage of the game, engaged in product three-dimensional modeling design, new product development, visual communication, UI interactive design and so on.

Students majoring in industrial design can be roughly divided into three directions after graduation. One is engaged in product designers, some in design companies and some in enterprises. The salary of newly graduated design companies is generally lower than that of enterprises, but the growth of design companies will be faster. The second is to continue further study, graduate school or study abroad. At present, the proportion of these students is not low. The proportion of these students entering universities or large enterprises in the future is very high. The third is to change careers. Some are civil servants, some are flat or indoor, and some are various self-employed shops.

Students of industrial design should learn product design thinking, how to investigate, how to penetrate into the crowd and how to improve product experience. The most frequently reported PPT in your university is the practice after graduation. Take the time to verify the fabricated, fabricated and true data of the university and reflect on it. No design industry will do these things.
