If you are using a Huawei phone and the phone cannot enter the fast charging mode, you can troubleshoot the operation in the following ways:
1. Please make sure your charger supports fast charging
Please check the output parameters of the standard charger, and judge the mode of charging that the device supports against the following information to determine whether it has entered the fast charging/super fast charging mode
Ordinary Charging: The icon is a single lightning bolt, the maximum output parameter of the standard charger is 5V/1A, 5V/2A.
Fast charging: The icon is a double lightning bolt, the maximum output parameter of the standard charger is 9V/2A, 10V/2A.
Super fast charging: The icon is a double lightning bolt, the maximum output parameter of the standard charger is 10V/2.25A, 5V/4.5A, 4.5A or 4.5A. 4.5A or 4.5V/5A, 10V/4A, 5V/8A, 20V/3.25A, 11V/6A, 20V/5A.
2. If your device supports fast charging (or super fast charging) mode, but displays the normal charging icon while charging
(1) It is recommended that you use Huawei's official recommended charger and data cable.
(2) Please check the port for foreign objects or dirt
Please make sure the charging port is clean and the port connection is stable before charging your phone.
If none of the above methods work, we recommend that you back up your data in advance (third-party apps such as QQ and WeChat need to be backed up separately) and bring your device, charger, data cable, and proof of purchase to a nearby Huawei customer service center for testing.
