How long is RoHS certification valid?

There is no such thing as authentication in RoHS. RoHS only has a test report, which has no validity period, but the importer, that is, the customer, basically requires that the report time be within one year.

Restrictions on the use of certain harmful substances in electrical and electronic equipment, that is, restrictions on the use of certain harmful substances in electrical and electronic equipment. RoHS directive requires that six harmful substances such as lead Pb, mercury Hg, cadmium Cd, hexavalent chromium Cr(VI), polybrominated biphenyls (PBBs) and polybrominated diphenyl ethers (PBDEs) in electronic and electrical products put into the EU market after July 1 2006 should not exceed the standard, so as to control the content of six main harmful substances in electronic and electrical equipment.

The EU RoHS directive covers the product range.

1. Household appliances

2. Lighting equipment

3. Information technology and telecommunications equipment

4. Power tools

5. Hardware accessories

6. Low voltage electrical appliances and electronic components

7. Toys, leisure and sports equipment

8.vending machines

9. Medical and monitoring equipment

10. Consumable equipment

1 1. Other electronic and electrical equipment

RoHS test is an EU directive (20 1 1/65/EU) on the use of certain harmful substances in electrical and electronic equipment. The purpose of RoHS report is to limit the use of toxic chemicals in electrical and electronic equipment. Protecting human health and the environment; Ensure that waste electronic and electrical equipment is easy to restore the environment during recycling or abandonment. Compliance with RoHS report is a great challenge for most companies. RoHS report limits the content of some harmful substances. As an experienced partner, we can help your products with RoHS chemical analysis and testing.

What are the test items reported by RoHS? What are the limit requirements?

Only four RoHS are needed to test metal materials.

Cd: < 100 ppm

Pb: <1000 ppm.

Mercury content: < 1000 ppm

Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+): < 1000 ppm

Non-metallic materials should be tested for six RoHS.

Cd: < 100 ppm

Pb: <1000 ppm.

Mercury content: < 1000 ppm

Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+): < 1000 ppm

Polybrominated biphenyl (PBBS): < 1000 ppm

Polybrominated diphenyl ethers:
