The Second Hospital Affiliated to Zhejiang University School of Medicine ("ZJU Second Hospital") was founded in 1869 as the birthplace of Western medicine in Zhejiang Province, and is one of the first Grade 3A hospitals in China, the first batch of national regional medical centers (cardiovascular, trauma, orthopaedics (cultivation), neurological diseases (cultivation)), and the only "Nature Index" hospital in Zhejiang Province.
