The built-up area of the town is 5.6 square kilometers, and the built-up rate reaches 68%.
The town has two elementary school (Anjiang First Primary School, Anjiang Second Primary School), three junior high schools (Hongjiang Experimental Middle School, Hongjiang Sixth Middle School, Hongjiang Qianyang Fifth Middle School), two senior high schools (Hongjiang Qianyang First Middle School, Hongjiang Qianyang Second Middle School), three vocational high schools (Hongjiang Vocational Middle School, Hongjiang Zhenhua Vocational School, Hongjiang Wenwu School), public kindergartens one, private Kindergartens, more than 10,000 students in school. Qianyang No.1 Middle School is a model general high school in Hunan Province and one of the 5 provincial model general high schools in Huaihua. There is also a medium-sized library, a culture and science center, and a square for mass leisure activities. The mass cultural activities are active, there are self-organized Yundong Fitness Activity Center, Peking Opera Association, Philatelic Association, Flower Association, Calligraphy Association, Longbiao Poetry Club, Fan Dance, Waist Drum Team and so on.
The town has 32 hospitals, health structures, village-level health care station 4, of which Hongjiang City People's Hospital Anjiang Hospital, Hongjiang City, the first hospital of Chinese medicine are second-class hospitals. Hongjiang City 110 emergency center set up Hongjiang City People's Hospital Anjiang Hospital.
The town has a water supply capacity of 30,000 tons of water plant, a 220KV substation. Existing garbage disposal site; daily garbage disposal capacity of 100 tons, can landfill 724,500 tons of domestic garbage, the service life of 20 years of Anjiang harmless garbage disposal site is under construction. There is one limited TV and one educational TV station.
