Static protection can take the following measures:
1, grounding: usually refers to the equipment and personnel grounding, that is, through the cross-sectional area of the standard metal wire will be the grounding of the equipment, the personnel through the hand ring, clothing, anti-static shoes and other measures to ground.
2, the use of anti-static materials: mainly the use of static dissipative materials (i.e., surface resistance between 10 to the 5th power ohms to 10 to the 11th power ohms of the material) to replace ordinary materials.
For example, in the anti-static work area used in the anti-static table mat, anti-static flooring, anti-static packaging boxes and so on.
3, lap (or across): more than two independent metal conductors are connected electrically, so that they are roughly at the same potential with each other.
4, electrostatic shielding: mainly refers to the use of Faraday cage principle, the use of closed conductors to the electrostatic source or need to protect the product shielding. Shielding measures can also prevent electronic facilities from electrostatic interference.
5, almost can not leak static electricity insulator, the use of antistatic agent to increase the conductivity, so that static electricity is easy to leak.
6, environmental humidification: the use of spraying, sprinkling and other methods, so that the relative humidity of the environment to 60 ~ 70%, in order to inhibit the generation of static electricity, textile mills and other production of static electricity problems. But the environment can only be used as an auxiliary measure of humidification, can not replace the above measures.
Purpose of anti-static:
For the electronics production plant, as far as possible to reduce the production process due to a variety of reasons for the generation of static electricity on the ESDS (electrostatic discharge-sensitive) device ESD (electrostatic discharge) damage phenomenon, to improve the finished product of electronic products, to avoid ESD is not possible, can only reduce the occurrence of ESD phenomenon; for ESD phenomenon. ESD phenomenon; for EPA (anti-static work area).
For example, electronic product maintenance room, testing laboratory. The purpose is to avoid as far as possible ESDS devices in the maintenance or testing process due to maintenance or testing instruments are not standardized and the occurrence of ESD phenomenon, the destruction of ESDS devices; for the petrochemical and fire industry, flammable and explosive places, is to make every effort to avoid the occurrence of static fire phenomenon, so as to avoid the detonation of combustible gases volatilized into the air, the occurrence of casualties and property damage.
