Inverters can be bought in hardware stores and online stores.
The inverter is a way to convert direct current (DC) electrical energy (batteries, accumulators) into alternating current (generally 220v50HZ sine or square wave). In layman's terms, an inverter is a device that converts direct current (DC) to alternating current (AC). It consists of an inverter bridge, control logic and a filter circuit.
Simply put, an inverter is an electronic device that converts low-voltage (12 or 24 or 48 volts) DC to 220 volts AC. It gets its name because we usually rectify 220 volts AC into DC to use it, and an inverter does the opposite, hence the name.
The electrical appliances that can be used are: cell phones, laptop computers, digital video cameras, cameras, lighting, electric shavers, CD players, game consoles, PDAs, power tools, car refrigerators, and a variety of travel, camping, and medical emergency appliances.
Precautions for use
1, DC voltage should be consistent. Each inverter has access to DC voltage values, such as 12V, 24V, etc., requiring the choice of battery voltage must be consistent with the DC input voltage of the inverter. For example, 12V inverter must choose 12V battery.
2. The output power of the inverter must be greater than the power of the appliance, especially for the startup of large power appliances, such as refrigerators, air conditioners, but also leave a larger margin.
3. Positive and negative poles must be connected correctly. Inverter access to the DC voltage labeled positive and negative. Red for the positive (+), black for the negative (-), the battery is also marked positive and negative, red for the positive (+), black for the negative (-), the connection must be positive (red to red), negative to negative (black to black). The diameter of the connecting wire must be thick enough and the length of the connecting wire should be reduced as much as possible.
4, should be placed in a ventilated, dry place, beware of rain, and with the surrounding objects have a distance of more than 20cm, away from flammable and explosive products, avoid placing or covering other items on the machine, the use of the ambient temperature of not more than 40 ℃.
