The school has eleven functional departments, including the Department of Medical Device Engineering, the Department of Medical Electronics and Information Engineering, the Department of Medical Imaging Engineering, the Department of Management, the Department of Basic Teaching, the Graphic Information Center, and the Academic and Research Department, the Student Affairs Department, and the Enrollment and Employment Office.
The school specializes in medical electronic instruments, precision medical equipment, medical imaging equipment, clinical engineering technology, medical equipment testing technology, pharmacy equipment, marketing (medical equipment marketing) and other 18 majors and professional direction. Specialized in the size of the student body of more than 4,000 people. Most of the specialties offered by the school combine the school's unique expertise in medical devices, which have distinctive professional characteristics in China. Among them, medical imaging equipment, medical electronic instruments, pharmacy equipment and other three specialties are approved by the Ministry of Education of the Specialty Teaching Reform Pilot Program; Clinical Engineering Technology is a Sino-Japanese cooperation to run the program to fill the gap in the country.
