Clean pipelines are an important part of the pharmaceutical production process and an important medium for the transmission of various media during the pharmaceutical production process. Stainless steel is widely used in various clean process pipelines in pharmaceutical production due to its excellent performance. GMP certification and pharmaceutical production processes have extremely strict requirements for this part, such as water injection pipelines, material pipelines, pure steam pipelines, etc., which require a good medium transportation environment such as pollution-free, corrosion-resistant, and smooth inner walls. This requires the construction party to provide qualified products that meet the special requirements of the pharmaceutical industry.
During the installation of clean pipelines, two commonly used methods are manual argon arc welding and all-position welding. The use of these two types of welding should be selected based on the importance of using clean pipes, welding formation, and project economy. Generally, automatic argon arc welding (i.e., all-position welding) must be used for welding of injected water, pure steam, and important clean pipes that are in direct contact with materials such as drugs and their production components, or that are in direct contact with drug packaging materials. It has the characteristics of good stability and better welding seam formation, beautiful appearance and smoothness. Manual argon arc welding can be used for medicinal raw water and drainage pipes.
