Wangjiang County People's Hospital, founded in 1957, is the county's only government-organized, non-profit, second-class A-class general hospitals and baby-friendly hospitals. It has 450 beds and 508 employees, including more than 140 senior and middle-level professionals and technicians, and is the medical, teaching and research center of the county as well as the designated hospital for medical insurance and venereal disease diagnosis and treatment. It is also the teaching hospital of Anqing Health School and the internship hospital of Anhui Medical University.
