Three mountains are its outline and body, and two deserts make up its wings.
It just dances in the northwest of China.
Perhaps it is this dancing butterfly that makes Xinjiang beautiful.
Urumqi in Xinjiang is the farthest city from the ocean in the world, while the Yellow River and the Yangtze River, two famous rivers in China, are far away from Xinjiang.
Xinjiang is located in the hinterland of Eurasia, surrounded by mountains, and the humid climate of the ocean can't reach here at all. Sailimu Lake, the only lake favored by the Atlantic Ocean, also stayed at the portal of Yili, leaving the last tear of the Atlantic Ocean on the Tianshan Mountains forever, so the climate in Xinjiang has formed an obvious temperate continental climate.
Because there are two deserts on the wings of butterflies, people will feel extremely dry when they think of Xinjiang. Perhaps in many people's minds, Xinjiang has nothing to see except the endless Gobi.
When we say that Urumqi is the farthest city from the ocean, we ignore that it is also the closest city to the glacier.
In the southern mountainous area of Urumqi, there is a famous glacier-Glacier No.1, and the snow water from there gathers into the mother river of Urumqi, which has also nurtured the people on both sides of Urumqi and Urumqi since ancient times. The Urumqi River finally flows into the Gurbantunggut Desert, which is located in the north of Urumqi, where it gathers with other rivers into a desert water source-the host Haizi, which makes all kinds of animals and plants living in the desert flourish.
In addition, the Santun River and Toutun River, which are not too far from Urumqi, are all melted from Tianshan Glacier.
On the Tianshan Mountains, the most famous glacier on Bogda Peak has merged into a famous lake-Tianshan Tianchi, a mythical lake, which has been famous since ancient times. As long as it is mentioned, it will be associated with Yaochi and Empress Dowager.
The water in Tianchi is rushing down, watering the crops on both sides, adding rich fruits to this land.
Although Shihezi, a famous military reclamation city, is located in Gobi, the hidden snow water in Tianshan Mountain can still irrigate ten thousand mu of fertile land here.
These snow waters have turned Shihezi reclamation area into one neat picture after another. Spring and summer are green, and autumn is the harvest season. They decorate this land with their own colors.
Cotton is an indispensable thing in people's lives, but can you think that brown cotton is the raw material of RMB? In today's advanced technology, I really should say: nothing is impossible, only unexpected.
Shihezi, with long sunshine, is the most suitable place for tomatoes to grow, so one bottle of tomato sauce is produced here for every four bottles sold in the world.
For people who love spicy food, they will be very excited to see the red peppers on this land, but these red peppers have another beauty function besides eating, that is, to become the pigment in women's favorite lipstick.
And all this is because of the snow water flowing from Tianshan Mountain.
According to statistics, there are more than 370 rivers in Xinjiang, most of which are formed by glacial snowmelt water.
Many people may be curious, given the arid geographical conditions in Xinjiang, no amount of snow water is enough, right?
But there is one phenomenon that we can't ignore.
The shady side of Tianshan Mountain is covered with spruce.
Maybe they are just ordinary trees for people who don't know botany, but only those who know them know that these snow-covered spruces are not as simple as they seem.
Their roots are very developed. They are buried deep in the mountains, but the roots of each tree are like a small reservoir, which can store 2.5 tons of water.
At the same time, their evaporation rate is also very fast, even exceeding the evaporation rate of seawater at the same latitude. These rising water vapor formed clouds over the Tianshan Mountains, and finally turned into rain and snow and fell on this land, nourishing the grasslands deep in the Tianshan Mountains.
Nature is so amazing that it makes the best use of every plant that grows here. Behind the superficial phenomenon, there is another phenomenon that we are not familiar with.
It is this phenomenon that maintains the circulation of nature and enables us to live comfortably in this land.
Like those Populus euphratica tree people who grew up in the desert, you look like a dry corpse. Perhaps they are new machines that glow again after being soaked in water.
When we walk through those strange Populus euphratica forests, don't rush to feel sorry for those seemingly dead trees. Maybe it's just a rain, and they can sprout new buds.
When Xinjiang's longest inland river meanders through the Tarim Basin, it gives the life codes to the creatures on both sides, allowing them to use water to make this dry desert more beautiful.
Bayinbuluke Grassland is the largest grassland in Xinjiang and the second largest grassland in China. This grassland is located in Bazhou, so it is close to Yili area and is often considered as a part of Yili grassland.
Under the sunlight, there is a little golden light on the grassland, which is because the marsh water under the grass reflects the sunlight. A group of horses stepped through the water, rushing headlong into it, stirring up a spray.
Such a sight is rare in other grasslands, but in Bayinbuluke, the grassland here seems to be a huge swamp, because the Kaidu River winds through the grassland.
Of course, such swamps also raised beautiful swans, so the stories told by swans spread all over the world.
When the sun sets, you can see the shadows of nine suns on the surface of Kaidu River as long as you find a good angle.
Perhaps it was the eight suns that were shot by Hou Yi, and the rest of the sun was too lonely, so at this time of the day, it met its eight brothers.
And this has become the best viewing point for people to watch the sunset. Unfortunately, I can only see their shadows through documentary images.
Writing here, I suddenly remembered the song "Planting the Sun" I heard when I was a child. If you can really plant the sun, don't say too much, but if you can plant one, it will be a disaster for the earth.
Only here can we see the scene of nine suns catching pearls, but we are not worried that they will cause damage to the earth.
Water is the softest thing, but it is also the hardest thing. When it is a trickle, it moistens the earth. When it merged into a big river, it opened a river on the earth with thunder and flowed out of its own way.
Water is not always the same, it is ever-changing. When it became a big river, it was washed away wrapped in sand. But the water source is reduced, just like a painter who can splash ink, drawing abstract paintings with the earth as paper.
This abstract painting, like trunk meridians and human blood, flows in this land, adding a lot of color to this land.
This is the shock brought by the canyon.
Mountains, rivers, grasslands, forests, deserts and canyons are all beautiful lands created by the melting of snow and water. That drop of glacier snow water, when it drops, may not know that it will have such great power. When it falls on this land in Xinjiang, it will have a butterfly-like effect, which will eventually achieve beautiful Xinjiang.
