The Regulations on Safety Supervision of Gas Cylinders was promulgated by Order No.46 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on April 24th, 2003, and revised according to Order No.46 of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine on August 25th, 2006.
The regulations are divided into general principles, design and manufacture of gas cylinders, supervision and inspection of gas cylinder manufacturing, gas cylinder filling, regular inspection of gas cylinders, transportation, storage, sale and use, and punishment. The General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine shall be responsible for the interpretation of these Supplementary Provisions, which shall come into force on June 1 2003.
