What is the meaning of medical insurance co-ordination

It refers to the remaining portion of the medical insurance premiums paid by all the employers in a coordinated area for the employees, after deducting the portion credited to the individual accounts.

The coordinated fund includes: the total amount of contributions made by all the participating units in the coordinated area, less the remainder after it has been credited to the individual accounts; financial subsidies; social contributions; bank interest; and late payment fees.

The medical insurance fund belongs to all participants, the implementation of special storage, earmarked for any unit or individual may not be misappropriated.

The fund is mainly used for: hospitalization of participants, non-scheduled hospital emergency rescue, referral (hospital), relocation, special outpatient medical expenses.
