Purpose of medical waste gooseneck sealing
The purpose of gooseneck sealing is to ensure the tightness of the seal. Infectious medical waste such as syringes and infusion tubes are put into double-layer yellow bags and sealed with a gooseneck closure to ensure tightness and prevent leakage. Scalpels, needles and other injuries such as medical waste is put into the sharps box, reaching 3/4 full by the nurse on duty to stick on the day seal.
