Please ask your doctors: how to diagnose H. pylori clinically?
Gastroscopy, biopsy, sinus biopsy rapid Hp examination, 13C-urea breath test (13C-UBT) and ASSURETM Hp rapid test (HpRT) were performed on 100 patients with gastrointestinal dysfunction, and the results of gastroscopy biopsy and histopathology were used as the gold standard. The results showed that the sensitivity and specificity of the rapid Hp test for gastric sinus biopsy were 79% and 76%, the sensitivity and specificity of 13C-UBT were 96% and 95%, and the sensitivity and specificity of HpRT were 86% and 88%, respectively. 13C-UBT has a better sensitivity and specificity in the detection of Hp, and it can be the first choice of diagnosis of Hp in clinical practice.
