Yuri vladimirovich andropov (Russian: ю? рий Влади? мирович Андро? пов; English: yuri vladimirovich andropov,191June15-1February 9, 984), a Soviet politician, has long held the leadership position of the party and government.

As the supreme leader of the Soviet Union, andropov made bold reforms and drastic personnel adjustments during his one year and three months in power, which contributed to the economic development of the Soviet Union and the improvement of people's welfare. Remarkable achievements have been made in rectifying labor discipline and improving economic mechanism, and the measures taken in this regard have been supported by the Soviet masses. However, due to health reasons, he was not allowed to finish the task.

From 1950 to 195 1, andropov was the representative of the third supreme Soviet of the Soviet Union.

From 195 1 to 1953, he was transferred to the central organ of Moscow, served as inspector of the International Liaison Department of the Central Committee of the Soviet Union and director of the First Division of the Central Committee of the Soviet Union, and entered the Moscow Senior Party School to study.

1953 to 1957, transferred to the Fourth Europe Department of the Soviet Foreign Ministry, and its scope of work was related to Poland and Czechoslovakia. Later, he was sent to the Soviet Embassy in Hungary as Minister Counsellor.

Andropov characterized this incident as a "counter-revolutionary event" and immediately suggested that Moscow send troops to suppress it. In the process of dealing with this incident, andropov was appreciated by the leaders of the Soviet Union.
