Our family supports their families by planting tea trees. How can we improve tea tree management technology and increase income?

Tea garden management needs scientific methods. As long as the method is correct and scientific and reasonable measures are taken, the cost can be reduced, the income can be increased and the economic benefit can be improved. Here are some methods of scientific field management of tea trees.

One is scientific topdressing.

Tea needs a lot of fertilizer. Top dressing should be applied at least 3 to 4 times during the tea germination and growth season. The first time was in March before tea picking in spring; The second time was in May, after picking tea in spring, to supplement the nutrition consumed by tea trees. Improve the quality and yield of summer tea; After picking summer tea in July, topdressing is needed; If autumn tea is picked late, it can be poured again in August-September. Topdressing is mainly based on available nitrogen fertilizer combined with phosphorus and potassium fertilizer, and special compound fertilizer can also be used. The main purpose is to supplement the nutrition consumed by tea, promote the healthy growth of tea and improve the yield and quality.

Second, reasonable pruning.

Tea trees must be pruned. For young trees, generally do not pick or trim a small number of top branches. At the same time, pruning can cultivate good crown shape and lay the foundation for high yield in the later stage. In a well-grown tea garden, proper illumination should be given after tea picking in spring to comb the tree structure, maintain air permeability and improve the photosynthetic efficiency of plants. For the old tea garden, it is necessary to plough and harvest again after harvest, and even harvest tea trees to reduce unnecessary nutrient consumption and prolong the production life of tea trees.

Third, intercropping weeding.

Field cultivation should be carried out after tea picking, because it is inevitable that the tea garden surface will be trampled repeatedly during tea picking, resulting in soil hardening, which is not conducive to root respiration and soil and water conservation of tea trees. Therefore, proper intercropping can loosen soil, increase soil permeability, improve root respiration and improve tea quality. After picking, shallow tillage or intermediate tillage is generally used, and the depth is not more than 10 cm. At the same time, it can be carried out together with weeding, which reduces the amount of labor and saves time and labor.

Four. Irrigation and drainage

Tea trees like temperature and humidity and have a great demand for water. After picking, the temperature is getting higher and higher, especially in summer and autumn, which is prone to drought and little rain. Therefore, irrigation should be carried out in time according to soil water content. Sprinkler irrigation, drip irrigation or nearby water irrigation can be used. If groundwater accumulates due to long-term rainfall, flood control and drainage should be carried out to prevent root rot.

The above is the general management method of tea farm management, I hope it will help everyone. There are many shortcomings, please understand.
