What unit is SDIC?

SDIC is a state-owned holding unit. National Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd., referred to as "SDIC", was established on May 5, 1995. It is an important state-owned backbone enterprise directly managed by the central government, the only investment holding company among the central enterprises, and the first batch of pilot units for the reform of state-owned capital investment companies.

Since its establishment, National Development and Investment Group Co., Ltd. has continuously improved its development strategy and optimized its asset structure, and gradually built four strategic business units: basic industry, forward-looking strategic industry, finance and service industry and international business. Basic industries will focus on the development of energy industry with electricity as the main body, transportation industry with roads and ports as the main body, and the development of strategic scarce mineral resources.

Forward-looking strategic industries promote the combination of fund investment and holding investment, focusing on the development of advanced manufacturing, health, urban environmental protection, biomass energy and other industries.

The financial services industry develops financial services such as securities, banks, securities funds, trusts, insurance, guarantees, futures, finance companies and financial leasing, and prudently conducts other businesses such as engineering design, asset management, consulting and property management. International business focuses on overseas direct investment, international project contracting and international trade.
