Lecture Notes on "Saving Energy" for Kindergarten Junior Middle School Classes

Dear teachers and classmates.

Energy is an important material basis for human survival and development. Saving energy resources and protecting the ecological environment are the basic national policies of our country, and low-carbon and economical campus is an important part of building an economical society. As a university, we should know first, act first, stay ahead of the society, and make our own contribution to the country's energy resources and ecological environment construction with practical actions. On the occasion of the National Energy Conservation Publicity Week and Low Carbon Day, the school issued an initiative to all teachers and students:

1. Develop the habit of saving. Form a good habit of turning off the lights, air conditioning, computer and water dispenser when you leave the office, classroom and other public places.

2. Advocate low-carbon travel. Consciously implement the "135" travel plan, that is, walk within 1 km, ride a bike within 3 km, and take public transportation within 5 km to realize low-carbon, environmental protection and healthy travel.

3. Use air conditioning moderately. The temperature of indoor air conditioner shall not be lower than 26℃ in summer and 20℃ in winter. When the air conditioner is turned on, doors and windows shall not be opened.

4. Don't turn on the light, turn on the light less. When the weather is clear and the light is sufficient, classrooms, offices and conference rooms should make full use of natural lighting to reduce the energy consumption of lighting equipment. During evening self-study, there are few people in the classroom, so we should concentrate on sitting in our seats and turn off the lights less. Those who leave last should turn off the lights to prevent "ever-burning lamps".

5. Carry out water-saving actions. When using water, don't turn on the tap, the flow is appropriate, and people stop when they leave the water; If it is found that there is "running water" in public places, it should take active measures or report to the logistics management department in time; Clothes should be washed as intensively as possible, and the washing liquid should be put in a proper amount to avoid using too much water, and waste water utilization should be strongly advocated.

6. Promote "paperless" office. If there are "paperless" office conditions, try not to use printed paper. If not, please save paper and advocate the use of double-sided printing paper.

7. Adhere to the "CD" action. Develop healthy, scientific, thrifty and civilized eating habits, save every grain, and make "CD" a habit.

8. Properly dispose of waste products. Don't throw waste paper, plastic bags, beverage bottles, batteries and other waste products. Domestic garbage should be actively put into recycling bins to advocate environmental protection, health and energy saving.

If you don't accumulate steps, you will be thousands of miles away; If you don't accumulate small streams, you won't be a river. Teachers and students, let's join the ranks of "Beautiful China, I'm an actor", start from now on, start from ourselves, start from the trivial matter of saving every kilowatt hour, every drop of water, every piece of paper and every grain of rice, and make our own contribution to building a beautiful China and a green low-carbon demonstration campus!
