Article 43 of the Constitution stipulates that people in China and workers in China have the right to rest. Article 45 stipulates that the people of China and citizens of China have the right to receive material assistance from the state and society when they are old, sick or incapacitated. Article 3 of the Labor Law stipulates that workers have the right to rest and vacation and the right to obtain labor safety and health protection.
