How do men keep healthy?

It is said that men are the pillar of the family and the backbone of the family, so men can't fight or suppress. Actually, they are not. Men look stronger than women, but sometimes great pressure and heavy burden are fatal to men's health. So how do men stay healthy? Can holding urine lead to male prostatitis?

1, male health defense line

Men seem to be stronger than women, but they are often more likely to be knocked down by diseases at critical moments. According to the epidemiological survey of the World Health Organization, men's hearts are more fragile than women's, and the probability of China people suffering from cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases is more than twice that of women. Men's stomachs are also more fragile than women's: clinical experts have found that the incidence of gastrointestinal diseases in men aged 15-50 is 6.2 times that of women. Frequent social interaction makes men susceptible to various hepatitis viruses, and pushing a cup on the wine table brings irreversible liver damage. Coupled with prostate problems, it brings great hidden dangers to men's health.

But when it comes to caring about their own health, men are often slow to respond. 80% of seriously ill men in China admitted in the survey that they have repeatedly overdrawn their bodies because of long-term neglect of minor health problems. Life Times recently interviewed a number of authoritative experts and asked them to help men build eight lines of defense.

The first line of defense: don't eat fat after 40. Americans call cardiovascular disease "andropathy". They found that most potbellied and smoking men in their 40 s and 50 s were "pregnant women" who were diagnosed with cardiovascular diseases. Medical experts from the National University of Ireland suggest that in order to reduce this phenomenon, women must keep their husbands' mouths shut, help men quit smoking, and then write a heart-protecting recipe. Fan Zhihong, an associate professor in the College of Food Science of China Agricultural University, pointed out that men like meat and fried food best, and their preference for animal fat will lead to excessive fat, which will precipitate on blood vessels, causing arteriosclerosis and thrombosis. If you want to control men's mouths, you should let them eat more fish, bean products, nuts, oats and garlic, which are the "bane" of cardiovascular diseases. In addition, eat less salt and more fruits, and don't eat animal viscera and fat after 40 years old.

The second line of defense: put a bottle of first aid medicine in the bag. In sudden death caused by cardiovascular diseases, the proportion of men is much higher than that of women. For men who are obese, smoke, tired and nervous for a long time, they may have a heart attack while playing ball games, taking a bath, having a meeting or eating. Therefore, Zhao Jianguo, an expert from the State Council and the First Affiliated Hospital of Tianjin University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, reminded that men over 40 years old, especially those with high risk factors of heart disease, should carry emergency medicine with them to "insure" their hearts. For example, put a bottle of nitroglycerin in your wallet or pocket, and prepare a bottle at the bedside, study, office and bathroom where you often stay. Once this happens, take out a tablet and put it under your tongue immediately. If the pain symptoms are not obviously relieved after taking it, it may be myocardial infarction, and you must go to the hospital immediately.

The third line of defense: eat out and drink less strong tea. Someone said, "Men have stomach trouble for two reasons, either because they are angry with their superiors or because of their wives." Although it is a joke, if you want to have a good stomach, you really need to reduce bad emotions such as anger, tension and anxiety. In addition, you can't give too much food stimulation to the fragile stomach. When men socialize outside, it is best for wives to remind them often: drink less strong tea, spirits and coffee, and eat less cold and spicy food, thus reducing gastric acid secretion. Men with bad stomachs should smoke less, because nicotine in them can also stimulate gastric mucosa and cause gastric dysfunction.

Line 4: Eat some millet porridge in the morning and evening. The incidence of gastropathy in men, especially gastric ulcer and gastric cancer, is higher than that in women. If you want to help them protect their stomachs, it is most important to keep three points for seven points. Professor Lin Sanren, honorary chairman of the Gastroenterology Branch of the Chinese Medical Association and former director of the Department of Gastroenterology of the Third Hospital of Peking University, taught men a phrase "protecting the stomach": every meal is full regularly, vegetables and fruits are indispensable, eat more white meat instead of red meat, and drink some millet porridge in the morning and evening. In addition, chewing slowly and eating soft, rotten and finely processed food can also reduce the "workload" of the gastrointestinal tract. But glutinous rice is not easy to absorb, so eat less. The fifth line of defense: eat only eight points full. Every year after the physical examination, many men will see the word "fatty liver" in the physical examination report. According to the survey, 1/4 of men in their thirties and forties in China suffer from fatty liver. Professor Li Bin, director of the Second Department of Gastroenterology, the Fourth Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, told reporters that fatty liver is mostly caused by alcoholism and overnutrition. Men's careers are getting bigger and bigger, they eat more and more big meals, and their waistlines are increasing day by day, so they "feed" fatty liver. If you want to prevent it, there is no "specific medicine". The most important thing is to eat seven or eight minutes full, especially for dinner. Don't insist. Not only should we eat less red meat, fried food and sweets, but we should also drink less, and we should not eat too much staple food, because steamed bread and rice can also be converted into fat and enter the liver.

Line 6: Jog three to five times a week. Chen Yurong, a runaway mother, walks 10 km every day, getting rid of severe fatty liver. This experience can be used for reference by many men. Professor Pu Junzong from the Institute of Sports Medicine of Peking University Third Hospital said that the most effective way to prevent fatty liver is exercise. The amount of exercise can be gradually increased from small to large, lasting at least 20 minutes at a time, 3-5 times a week, and 5-7 times a week for moderately obese people. For men, the most convenient and economical way is to walk at a medium speed of about 120 steps per minute, jog around the community garden, do dozens of sit-ups before going to bed, ride a bike or walk as much as possible, and don't drive or take a car. Of course, if you insist on swimming or climbing once a week, you can consume excess fat in your liver faster.

Line 7: Drink plenty of water and don't hold your urine. In the eyes of many men, frequent urination, urgency and urinary incontinence are natural manifestations of aging, just like dizziness and tooth loss. Don't worry. However, Professor Guo Yinglu, an academician of China Academy of Engineering and president of urologist branch of Chinese Medical Doctor Association, pointed out that these symptoms in men over 50 years old often mean benign prostatic hyperplasia. If you don't see a doctor in time, you may have urinary retention, repeated hematuria, urinary system infection and even hydronephrosis. The best way to avoid prostate failure is to drink more water, 2000-2500 ml a day; Don't hold your urine; Relax more and stay happy; Take a hot bath to relieve muscle and prostate tension.

The eighth line of defense: don't exceed one or two liquors. When a man's face is flushed under the action of alcohol, he may not have thought that his prostate will be "drunk" in addition to hurting his liver. Deng Shumin, director of the Department of Urology and Andrology, Beijing Hospital of the Ministry of Health, pointed out that the prostate is very sensitive to alcohol and will become hypertrophy and "clumsy" under the stimulation of alcohol. Excessive drinking will also interfere with sexual response and reduce sexual excitement and orgasm. He reminded that people with mild prostatitis should pay great attention to any irritating drinks and foods. Never have more than one or two cups of white wine, not more than one cup of coffee a day, and eat less spicy food.

2. Health care methods for middle-aged men
