What are the main manifestations of cerebral palsy in children?

Cerebral palsy is also called cerebral palsy. It is pointed out that the central dyskinesia disease caused by non-progressive brain injury or abnormal brain development due to various reasons during the lifetime to one month after birth is a clinical syndrome of congenital dyskinesia and abnormal posture.

Symptoms of cerebral palsy:

1. Dyskinesia-poor self-control ability, unable to grasp, talk, walk, turn over, start, stand, chew and swallow normally.

2. Posture disorder-all kinds of postures are abnormal and posture stability is poor. After 3 months, the head can't stand upright. Fists don't break easily. Legs don't straighten easily.

3. Mental retardation-normal intelligence is about 1/4, mild and moderate mental retardation is about 1/2, and severe mental retardation is about 1/4.

4. Language barriers-difficulties in language expression, unclear pronunciation or stuttering. Can't talk when it's serious.

5. Audio-visual impairment-esotropia and difficult to distinguish the rhythm of sound are the most common.

6. Growth and development disorders-short stature.

7. Tooth development disorder-loose texture and easy to break.

8. Emotional and behavioral disorders-stubbornness, willfulness, irritability, withdrawn, emotional fluctuations, and sometimes obsessive, self-destructive and aggressive behaviors.

9.40%-50% of children with cerebral palsy will induce epilepsy, especially those with severe mental retardation.
