Gannan Medical College, located in Ganzhou City, Jiangxi Province, is a full-time undergraduate college of general medicine organized by Jiangxi Provincial People's Government. The school's predecessor was Jiangxi Ganxian Senior Midwifery Vocational School, which was founded in 194 1 and Gannan Medical College in 1958. 1988 was upgraded to an undergraduate college and renamed Gannan Medical College. In 20 13, it was approved by the State Council Academic Degrees Committee as a master's degree awarding unit.
