In a recent conversation with reporters, Shen Zhiping, a famous nutritionist, pointed out that the health of China residents was affected by improper nutrition, and various diseases became more and more serious. He appealed: It is urgent to educate the whole society to strengthen nutrition awareness, master nutrition science knowledge and establish good habits of balanced diet.
Shen Zhiping was the chairman of China Nutrition Society, and participated in the formulation of the first dietary guide for residents in China and the expected dietary pattern for residents in China.
Shen Zhiping said that modern scientific research has proved that people's demand for nutrients is regular. So far, scientists have found that the human body needs 42 kinds of nutrients. First, the demand for these nutrients must be comprehensive, and the lack of any one will affect health or bring diseases. Second, the demand for multiple nutrients must be kept at a certain proportion, neither less nor too much. Therefore, with the development of human civilization, eating is no longer an arbitrary individual behavior, but a social behavior that must be guided by nutrition science.
Shen Zhiping pointed out that in China's real life, people's nutrition awareness is very weak, nutrition knowledge is also extremely lacking, and blind eating is quite common. Nutrition survey shows that China is facing the double challenges of malnutrition and overnutrition. On the one hand, in rural areas, due to the lack of nutrition knowledge, farmers sell nutritious eggs and milk to buy drinks for their children, or they can't feed them scientifically. Malnutrition among rural children is still quite prominent. On the other hand, due to the increase of economic income, some residents eat too much "three highs" diet with high fat, high protein and high calorie, and obesity and "rich diseases" caused by overnutrition are on the rise. According to the survey, the number of overweight people in large and medium-sized cities has reached more than 15%, and some cities have even reached 30%, and the number of overweight' chubby' children has also reached 10 ~ 15%. Among adults, the incidence of diabetes, hypertension, hyperlipidemia, fatty liver, coronary heart disease, stroke and cancer is on the rise.
Shen Zhiping said that the grim situation tells us that how to eat is no longer a trivial matter in personal life, but a major event related to the healthy rise and fall of the nation. Therefore, nutritionists designed "Dietary Guide for China Residents" according to the national conditions of China, and drew this guide into a balanced diet pagoda, which vividly expressed the consumption ratio of various foods. This "balanced diet pagoda" can be regarded as an isosceles triangle. Divide the two hypotenuses into five equal parts and draw a line. At the bottom is cereal, each person should eat 300 grams to 500 grams a day; The second floor of the bottom floor represents the consumption of vegetables and fruits, and each person should eat 400 ~ 500 grams every day; The third layer is animal food such as fish, poultry, meat and eggs, which should be eaten 125g ~ 200g every day (including 50g of fish and shrimp, 50 ~ 100g of livestock and poultry meat and 25 ~ 50g of eggs). The fourth layer is milk and bean products. You should eat 100g milk and 50g beans or bean products every day. The top spire is grease, which does not exceed 25 grams per day.
The amount of the above five foods is set according to the average adult normal person. People of different ages, occupations and constitutions can eat more or less, but the proportion of five foods must be maintained, so as to achieve a balanced diet. As long as you adhere to the dietary guidelines for China residents, diseases caused by improper nutrition will stay away from you, and health will always accompany you.
