How to distinguish the health status of cattle

If you want to know whether cows get sick early and get timely treatment, you can identify them by the following methods:

(1) Seeing healthy eyes, cows have bright eyes, sensitive vision and quick response. Sick cows have no eyes, poor eyesight and slow reaction.

(2) Look at two cows with healthy ears. The ears flap flexibly and naturally, shaking all the time, and the hands touch the constant temperature. Sick cows hang their heads and ears, their ears are unshakable, and their roots are uneven in heat and cold.

(3) look at the nose mirror. Healthy bovine rhinoscope has juice beads, which are evenly distributed. The sick cow nose mirror has no juice, and it is dry and shelled. In severe cases, it has cracked longitudinal lines.

(4) The oral mucosa of healthy cows is reddish and the temperature is normal. The oral mucosa of sick cattle is pale white, drooling or dry, and the temperature is hot and cold, high and low, with a bad smell.

(5) The tongue coating of cattle tongue is ruddy and smooth, elastic and firm, and the temperature is normal. The tongue of sick cattle is mostly yellow, white and brown, with thick and rough coating, weak and inflexible expansion, and low tongue temperature.

(6) Look at healthy horn roots. The horn root is warm and unchangeable. The temperature of the diseased horn root is either high or low.

(7) Look at healthy ruminants. They ruminate 30 minutes after each feeding, 40-60 minutes each time, and ruminate about 8 times a day and night. The rumination of sick cattle is reduced or stopped, and the rumination and appetite are abnormal.

(8) The hair of healthy cattle is glossy, shiny and elastic. The fur of sick cattle is rough and messy, but dull.

(9) Look at the walking condition. When a healthy cow walks, it is brisk and powerful, with steady steps, refreshing and strutting. Sick cows stumble, walk hard, their tails droop, they limp, and they can't even lie down.

(10) The urine of healthy cows is not dry or thin, and the surface is shiny. If the feces are hard and hot, there is internal heat and diarrhea is external cold. Healthy cows urinate clearly and regularly. Sick cows have frequent urination, less yellow urine, and even bloody feces and urine, which have a foul smell, and are mostly caused by cold and heat, hunger, uneven grass and water, and hunger and cold.
