In response to Guangdong's "Strong Province of Traditional Chinese Medicine" plan, Southern Medical University has integrated the talents resources of Chinese and Western medicine from College of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Southern Hospital and zhujiang hospital. Medical work has a coordinated development layout of "one central campus and two sub-campuses", science and education work has a framework of "one backbone, interaction between hospitals", and hospitals have a management model of "integration of hospitals". Chairman Zhang Dejiang of the National People's Congress (then Secretary of Guangdong Provincial Party Committee) wrote an inscription: "Thanks to Southern Medical University for its great contribution to building a strong province of Chinese medicine and improving the health level of the people in the province!" . Then, through the east wind of the school, vigorously develop affiliated hospitals.

The whole hospital is of one mind and one mind, striving for the goal of building a domestic first-class and international first-class teaching and research hospital of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine.

From August 2065438 to August 2005, our hospital signed a strategic cooperation intention agreement with Taikang House (Beijing) Investment Co., Ltd. to build a world-class cancer medical center, which brought new opportunities and challenges to the development of the hospital.
