The health certificate is usually taken one to two weeks after the physical examination. If you don't have time, you can take it later. The health certificate is valid for one year and can be obtained within one year.
According to Article 45 of the Food Safety Law of People's Republic of China (PRC), food production and marketing personnel engaged in direct contact with imported food shall undergo annual health examination and obtain health certificates before taking up their posts.
