Weifang Institute of Science and Technology (English name: Weifang Institute) is located at No.9888, Yunmen South Road, Qingzhou City, Shandong Province. It is a full-time undergraduate college approved by the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government. It consists of the Institute of Science and Technology of Weifang Institute of Technology and Weifang Polytechnic Comprehensive High School. It won the "Best Social Reputation University in Shandong Province of the Year" for four consecutive years, and won the first place among Asian universities in the World Green University in 20 19 and 2020.
In June 2005, with the approval of the Ministry of Education and the Shandong Provincial People's Government, Shandong Normal University and Inspur Group jointly established Lishan College of Shandong Normal University. 2065438+June 2009, with the approval of the Ministry of Education, Lishan College of Shandong Normal University was transformed into Weifang Institute of Technology.
As of April 2023, the whole school was divided into Qingzhou main campus and Weifang central campus. The total area of the two campuses is 1600 mu, and the construction area is over 700,000 square meters. At present, there are 14 secondary colleges and two teaching institutions, covering 44 undergraduate majors and 30 specialist majors, forming eight disciplines such as literature, science, engineering, law, art, economics, management and teaching, and having two first-class undergraduate majors at the provincial level.
